The quintessence of land and time. Of sensuality and emotion. Of French know-how and art de vivre…
Since 1270, the artisanal, family-owned Frapin has been refining its methods of producing cognac, controlling each step of the process, a quality-driven approach which yields some of the best cognacs in the world. It is to extend this approach and to underline the relationship between two exceptional crafts epitomizing the greatest traditions of French luxury that we have decided to offer scents inspired by our cognacs, our history and our land. Cognac and perfume share profound affinities. Both intoxicate our senses; their common fragrances – dried fruit, flowers, spices, wood, vanilla… – can both flatter the palate or adorn skin. But it is in the art of assembling aromas that the connection between the two elixirs most fully expresses itself. Just as the cellar master assembles eaux-de-vie whose character he has painstakingly crafted to compose his drinkable fragrances, the perfumer selects essences whose every nuance he masters to fashion his liquid poems.
After all, the quintessence of luxury is taking the time to create beauty. And to enjoy it.
Eau de Parfum. Life should be anything but boring. David Frossard, himself a motorcycle aficionado and lover of extreme sports, entrusted this interpretation to perfumer Aliénor Massenet. Her creation boasts a genuine olfactory signature. The citrusy attack followed by salty floral accords conjures up the heady adrenaline rush of ripping down an...Frapin Perfume
Eau de Parfum. Created with the vitality of Art nouveau, Paradis Perdu by Frapin is an ode to the vineyards around the property. Speak easy: those were the words whispered to clients in illegal bars during the Prohibition… And since today tobacco is a more forbidden pleasure than alcohol, it is to this rare olfactive family that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato’s composition belongs. A suave accord of Havana and oriental leather, refreshed by a splash of mojito.Frapin Perfume
A tribute to the origins of the Frapin family, who settled in the Charente in 1270, and to the Folle Blanche, the grape variety once planted in our vineyards. Mouth-watering fruit, nut, spice and vanilla accords conjure the complex aroma developed by the oldest cognacs. A distillation of gourmand pleasures, re-orchestrated by Sidonie Lancesseur.Frapin Perfume
It is to François Rabelais, the most illustrious member of the dynasty, that the house of Frapin has dedicated L’Humaniste. A shot of gin laced with citrus, spices and herbs anchored by soft tonka bean makes it as bracing and limpid as the curious, open minds of Renaissance men. A fresh, bright fougère composed by Sidonie Lancesseur.Frapin Perfume
