Once there was a student who wasn’t from Germany but was in Germany to take some
“medieval” perfumery courses. There were a huge amount of bottles filled with different essences and smelling materials available to his nose and nothing else to do apart from learning how to recognize and utilize them or getting drunk at the only pub in town. He did both.
His name was Alessandro and there was Aturetto, too, both from Italy. They were not brothers but they shared a passion for perfume. Arturetto, already an experienced nose, taught Alessandro, and the time finally came for Alessandro to leave Germany to create
perfumes for Diesel. After 18 years making fragrances for other companies, Alessandro decided to set out on his own and, with the help of his old friend Arturetto, formed Nasomatto in Amsterdam.
The perfumes in Nasomatto’s collection are modern, rich and full of personality, reflecting Alessandro’s explosive joie de vivre and love of all things fragranced. Each one is highly
concentrated parfum extrait (the lasting power is remarkable) and presented in beautiful, stacked architectural bottles topped with wooden caps.
Extrait de Parfum. This bottle of perfume is part of the project Nasomatto. The fragrance encourages a raw taste sensation. It is the result of a quest to evoke the powerful and mighty whisper of an olfactory stirring, which magically rejoins the whole and the nothing.Nasomatto
It is Alessandro's intention through the project Nasomatto to share his personal passion for perfumes and enhance your awareness of the impact of your olfactory senses. It's what Alessandro does, thinking up raw materials, situations and accords that he would like to have available as perfumes.Nasomatto
A quest to manipulate and amplify the power of the nose. “Fantomas” leaves an undeniable trail for further research; a lasting fragment that embodies the ingenuity and charm of a perfectly executed plan. A mysterious fragrance for challenging circumstances, decorously evoking olfactory illusions with its continuous development on the skin.Nasomatto
