Since 1270, the artisanal, family-owned Frapin has been refining its methods of producing cognac, controlling each step of the process, a quality-driven approach which yields some of the best cognacs in the world. It is to extend this approach and to underline the relationship between two exceptional crafts epitomizing the greatest traditions of French luxury that we have decided to offer scents inspired by our cognacs, our history and our land. Cognac and perfume share profound affinities. Both intoxicate our senses; their common fragrances – dried fruit, flowers, spices, wood, vanilla… – can both flatter the palate or adorn skin. But it is in the art of assembling aromas that the connection between the two elixirs most fully expresses itself. Just as the cellar master assembles eaux-de-vie whose character he has painstakingly crafted to compose his drinkable fragrances, the perfumer selects essences whose every nuance he masters to fashion his liquid poems.
After all, the quintessence of luxury is taking the time to create beauty. And to enjoy it.
