Although, for a number of years now Thomas De Monaco has been investing in olfactory experiments and their potential to suffuse the imaginary byways of the brain with impressive images, the conceptional approach to his first scent has taken the opposite direction. 

From the stream of lingering adolescent impressions, recovered from the depths of his memory, he has created a luscious Eau de Parfum which thrills the senses. The fragrance opens with swirls of plum liqueur, coffee, smoky vetiver and black pepper. Its heart note suggests lush purple lipstick textured with warm notes of polished leather and velour. The base takes us on a journey through a range of balsamic notes – tonka beans adding a masculine touch, civet and patchouli providing a blast of animalistic heat, saffron playing on raw leather notes and exotic opoponax offering a hint of dark honey.
