Ambre Papier
“Reimagining the scent of “Papier d’Arménie”, inspired by an Armenian tradition where benzoin resin is burned to fragrance interiors. This interpretation reveals the beauty of this raw material with elegance and contrast. For me, it’s a tribute to heritage and the timeless allure of tradition.” Véronique Le Bihan
A composition centeredaround Siam Benzoin, a rare and precious raw material with many facets. In AMBRE PAPIER, perfumer Céline Perdriel crafts an olfactory tableau of contrasts, skilfully balancing strength and softness. After a fresh and spicy burst of black pepper and Red Mandarin, the dark leathery warmth of saffron emerges with a fiery, almost electric intensity. The benzoin then unfolds its rich, smooth, and vanilla-like facets, further deepened by the refined elegance of Haitian Vetiver.
