My creative journey has always been driven by the concept of an "Emotion Generator Machine," crafting fragrances to spark specific feelings. With this scent, I began with the classic fougère structure—green, aromatic, and woody—then disrupted it with an unexpected tropical twist, led by juicy mango. The result is a fragrance that balances comforting familiarity with playful brightness, evoking joy and surprise.
In creating this perfume, I delved deeper into the mechanisms of emotional response through scent. Can emotions be decoded and replicated? This experiment aimed to write a "Code of Emotion," fine-tuning each note like a mechanic working on an engine to evoke nostalgia, passion, or comforting warmth.
The exotic fruit accord refreshes the traditional fougère base, making the fragrance both recognizable and intriguingly new. It’s mouthwatering without becoming gourmand, pampering yet invigorating, with a vibrant contrast between the grounding woody notes and the lively fruitiness.
As a final challenge, I avoided iris-like accords and minimized animalic notes, opting for just a hint of clean musks to preserve the scent’s clarity and brightness.
