Imperial Tea
A tribute to the exclusive tea reserved for the Chinese royal family. Kilian Hennessy worked on a floral and modern version, with a very fresh side pushed by bergamot compared to the old version. A tribute to the emblematic jasmine green tea, scented according to an ancient tradition. Plucked at dawn, thousands of delicate jasmine flowers settle on the tea leaves and buds. Dried tea absorbs the perfume of fresh flowers. This enfleurage extraction technique is repeated twice, so that the essence deeply permeates the heart of the tea. After giving up all their delicious jasmine aroma to the tea, the dried flowers are carefully picked by hand, one by one.
