Old Fashioned

Only better with age—Old Fashioned is a new fragrance of heritage and sophistication, with whiskey accords inspired by the complex taste structure of an 18-year-aged single malt.
Created in collaboration with perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, Kilian Hennessy wanted Old Fashioned to evoke only the purest, most excellent whiskey: a single malt, meaning liquor cultivated within one distillery, and aged to perfection with a minimum double-decade richness following the finest Scottish tradition . Old Fashioned unfolds in time just so, opening like a first, incredible sip with Wheat Absolute and the slightly floral liquored aspect of Davana Essence. Old Fashioned then leads into a complex of ultraconcentrated Cedarwood Essence and Everlasting Absolute, with longlasting notes of Styrax and Tolu Balm, to suggest aging barrels and the misty wooded moors of Scottish lore.

“I’ll have a Whiskey, neat, please”—and the auburn liquor will be served, straight, in what’s often called an “old fashioned,” a glass style like a short tumbler designed for sipping slowly. The Old Fashioned perfume is served quite similarly, in a bottle like all elixirs in The Liquors collection: appearing like a weighted classic tumbler and chiselled with an abstract 'K' motif to reflect light at all angles. Refillable and available in both 50ml and 100ml sizes, Old Fashioned looks and feels in hand exactly like a moment of tasting the finest.
