ROSE
Queen of flowers and iconic olfactory symbol, the rose embodies both delicacy and strength. It has always inspired perfumers, who explore its infinite nuances: sometimes fresh and luminous, sometimes sensual and mysterious.
A DUO OF ROSES
The pink notes of this composition are built around a complementary duo: Rose absolute and Damask rose essential oil. The absolute, textured and mellow, is mixed with the steam-distilled essence, which is cooler and more petal-like. This contrast enhances the complexity and depth of the note. Rare and delicate, the Damask rose is harvested at dawn to preserve all its olfactory richness. Its harvest is fleeting, lasting only 30 to 35 days each year. Almost 4 tons of petals are needed to produce just one kilo of essential oil, making it one of the most prized ingredients in perfumery.

BENZOIN
A treasure of the East, benzoin is an aromatic resin extracted from the bark of the Styrax tree, native to Southeast Asia. Used since ancient times for its purifying virtues, it has become a key ingredient in perfumery thanks to its enveloping warmth and vanilla-like depth.
A SUBLIMATED PATH
Benzoin is obtained by making an incision at the base of the tree, allowing a thick resin to flow that solidifies on contact with air. Once dry, this gum is extracted using volatile solvents to produce a rich, textured resinoid. Its natural composition gives it balsamic, milky and delicately spicy nuances. Its aroma evokes incense, vanilla and precious woods. Benzoin enhances the trail and reinforces the sensuality of amber and flower accords, while prolonging its longevity on the skin.
