Bagage a Main

*Bagage à main* stems from an intimate memory of Pierre Guéros, rooted in a family history defined by leather, craftsmanship, and *savoir-faire*.

Before becoming a perfumer, Pierre Guéros envisioned continuing his family’s tradition: for generations, his father, grandfather, and ancestors were master leatherworkers, specializing in the artisanal craft of leather and hides. For his eighteenth birthday, his father gifted him a bespoke travel bag made of caramel-colored calfskin—exceptionally soft to the touch and featuring a deliberately retro design, inspired by the aristocratic luggage of the *Grand Tour*. Over time, this cherished object became a symbol of a deep family bond and one of the first memories Guéros sought to translate into a fragrance early in his career. From this memory, *Bagage à main* was born.
