In life, there are bitter notes and sweet notes; there are unforgettable moments and moments when we seek refuge in something—to turn the page, to smile. In this fragrance, I wanted to capture the sweet sensation of love and the deep pang in the heart that comes with the end of a relationship. Everything transforms, as in an alchemical journey; here, gold is cocoa, my philosopher’s stone. I return to writing about emotions from my past, which today feels like another life. This time, it’s a love story that ends—an event that deeply influenced that moment in my life and this fragrance. My inner self sits there, eating a chocolate cake, gaze lost in the void, lights and shadows of the same world; time passes, and that cake takes on the form of my savior—everything will pass, even this love. Bite after bite, the palate becomes a place of healing, where the note of cacao envelops the pain.
