Buio is a unique and unmistakable perfume. It's a mysterious fragrance that invites reflection, a meditative, intimate, and yet intriguing scent. The most important thing about Buio is its addictive quality, creating an inexhaustible olfactory dependence. Buio transports you to a whirlwind of persistence, a warm and exciting flow of musky and ambery notes, leather and smoke. Our first authentic incense, but with the unmistakable essence of Meo.
Its smoky and powdery notes unlock the dimension of Buio Parfum, an incense that treasures centuries of stories, deep, mysterious, and intimate, enriched with carrot seed powder and the dark essence of Cade. Within, a heart of darkness embraces osmanthus and peony, enveloped in notes of geranium and magnolia, protected by labdanum absolute and amber nuances. The base upon which this narrative rests is composed of vetiver, patchouli, cedarwood and sandalwood, musk, and leather. There are moments in life when we look back, as if wanting to capture an instant in our memory. Leaving a place forever means carrying the memories with you, eternally. Buio Parfum was conceived, created, and assembled while listening to the albums Empty by Nils Frahm and Ende Neu by Einstürzende Neubauten at every stage. There were days when my mind wandered, drifting slowly among thoughts and memories, only to be swallowed up by time and become a prisoner of events. The first accord of this perfume was born from the encounter between Cade oil, carrot seeds, an enveloping incense, Cashmeran, and Suederal. In that blend, the courage to transform the course of my thoughts, my existence, my life, was born. During that period, as this fragrance took shape, I read texts on Shintoism and listened to Nils Frahm. Each raw material was carefully weighed, as if they were vital words to tell someone something significant about my life; it was my story, my path, shrouded in darkness.
